MAT REMPIT: Have national plan to bust the gangs

My car was parked outside my house in SS17, Subang Jaya. While my wife, sister and I were entering the car, we were attacked by a group of Mat Rempit. There were more than 10 motorcycles, most of them with pillion riders. The pillion riders split into three groups and attacked us separately. They seized the handbags and handphones from the women. Then they went for the gold chains and frisked their hands for bangles. As for me, the only male in the group, a few of them kept me busy with punches and kicks. They were so methodical and calculating that they had earlier detained the newspaper man who was doing his rounds to prevent him from raising the alarm. We lost two gold chains, two bangles, two handphones and a considerable amount of cash. However, the psychological impact was more severe. The women can still feel the hands on their necks and the aura of a safe neighbourhood is shattered forever. We are now in a constant state of apprehension and fear. The following are my observations and suggestions: The gang prowled the area a day earlier at the same time and robbed people. Police confirm that reports had been lodged. However, no action was taken to stop the gang. A few minutes before we were robbed, they attacked another resident. This resident called the police but no patrol car was sent. Immediately after robbing us, they robbed a deaf and mute girl at the Shell station in SS17. No efforts were taken to secure the closed-circuit television camera until 1.30pm. If their photographs are available, why were they not shown in the media? After being attacked, I called the Subang Jaya police station three times. No response. In my report, I said my newspaper man was stopped by this gang from warning us and mentioned the resident who called the police station. No efforts were made by the police to find out their names or addresses. What if identification was required? These guys are biking, racing, drinking and shooting drugs at night. I would like to see a plan to address the Mat Rempit menace that includes key performance indicators at the national and operational levels. There is no national plan to address the menace. This would entail obtaining intelligence on such gangs by surveillance or infiltration. Tabs should be kept on Mat Rempit. The plan should include hurting Mat Rempit where it would hurt them the most: impounding their motorcycles (this has been addressed by the inspector-general of police)
Comment: I hope that government will impose the hardest punishment for all this gang. As we know that this gang is not only contravene the road rules but also affected the safety of other peoples who used the road. From this article, it’s mentioned that this gang is started to involve with the criminal activities. If we don’t try to stop they and it will go worse.

Math and Science back to Bahasa, mother tongues (Update)

KUALA LUMPUR: The Cabinet has decided that the medium of instruction for Maths and Science will revert to Bahasa Malaysia in national schools and mother-tongue languages in national-type schools from 2012 onwards. The reversal of the Teaching of Math and Science in English (PPSMI) policy will be done in stages, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said on Wednesday. He however added that there will be greater emphasis on learning the English language.English literature will be re-introduced, as will subjects on grammar and composition.Beginning 2012, students in Year One and Year Four in primary schools, and Form One and Form Four in secondary schools, will learn Math and Science in Bahasa Malaysia. The change will not affect those in Form Six and Matriculation. The two subjects will be taught in two languages until 2014 for other students, he said.“The gap between rural and urban students has widened since PPSMI started.“Only 19.2% of secondary teachers and 9.96% of primary teachers were sufficiently proficient in English,” he said, explaining the Government’s decision to revert to the old system. On efforts to emphasise the learning of English, the number of English teachers would be increased by 13,933 -- retirees would be hired, as well as foreigners if need be.Primary schools will also increase English classes by 90 minutes a week. There have been calls from various groups for the policy to revert to before 2003, when the subjects were taught in Bahasa Malaysia in national schools, and either in Chinese or Tamil in national-type schools. The issue has seen a rare alliance between Malay and Chinese educationists, who are against the switch, although there are also calls by many parents and entrepreneurs for English to be maintained.
Comment: From this article, I really disagree about it. You know before this we used Math and Science in English but now we had to turn back to the originally teaching in Bahasa. This changing was affected to the teachers and students. For teachers, they have to change the book used and their teaching into Bahasa back, and for students it will contribute to the reduce of ability in English mastery and they also have to buy a new exercise books for their study.

People who live before the independent day had through suffer and their culture also had been restricted. When we achieved our freedom, there is a lot of changing to our environment that manage the improvement to our life conditions. You know why I’m proud to be a Malaysian? It is because I have peaceful and beautiful country that I live with harmony. If compared other country, I think our country is the best because we have a good citizen and good environment. Oh, before I  forgot, we also have a good leadership which contributes the improvement to our systems and regulations. Malaysia has a beautiful demography that attracts the tourist to visit our country. From that I realize that how beautiful our country since it can attracts the people outside from this country to visit. In every year we have celebrated the Merdeka days but what the meaning of merdeka for u? Does we celebrate the day because of everybody have celebrated it, or we celebrate it just for the remain sacrifice of those people who fight  for the independent before against the colonist? Whatever it is, I hope that day was meaningful for you…..

Comment:
I. How do we get infected with Influenza A(H1N1)?
• The A(H1N1) virus is mainly transmitted person to person by droplets that comes out the noses or mouths of infected people when they cough or sneeze.
• We can get infected if we inhale the droplets or touch something – such as a surface or object – with flu viruses on it and then touch our mouth, nose or eyes.
• A person can remain infectious as long as symptoms of influenza-like illness persist, or one day before and up to seven days after symptoms (especially fever) appear. Children and those whose immune systems are compromised can spread the virus longer.
Note: with graphics - “That is why you should…”
a. practise good cough etiquette and personal hygiene
b. clean commonly touched surfaces in the house/workplace
c. practise social distancing (stay 1m away from a person who is sneezing/coughing)
II. How does the Influenza A(H1N1) virus make us sick?
• The Influenza A(H1N1) virus is a virus that mainly affects our respiratory system. It penetrates cells lining our airways and replicates inside them. When they are released from infected cells, the infected cell is damaged.
• As our immune system fights the infection with an inflammatory response, it may cause swelling in our airways and we may have fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty in breathing.
III. How is Influenza A(H1N1) different from the common cold?
• High fever (>38°C) that lasts for three to four days, sore throat, headaches, severe body aches, extreme fatigue and severe cough are common in Influenza A(H1N1) but rare in common colds.
• Running or stuffy nose and sneezing, however, is sometimes present in Influenza A(H1N1) but prominent in common colds.
• While Influenza A(H1N1) can lead to other complications, colds generally do not result in serious health problems such as pneumonia, bacterial infections, or hospitalisations.

MY SELF

Hai..... My name is Mohamad Hafifi b. Abdul Razak, just call me Fyfy. I’m from N. Sembilan and sometimes people called it ‘Nogori’. I’m 20 years old but actually I’m 19 years old because my birthday doesn’t reach yet. I was born on 25 Sept 1989, so that why I’m still 19 isn’t? Ha...ha...ha... just joking.  You want to know me further? What??? Don’t want!!! Oh.... you also know how to make joke right? Okay, let start with my favorite color, emm... what do you think about what is my favorite color is? Actually, I like blue color. Ha...why??? You want to know why, it’s because I think that blue color is beautiful, wide, and peace. My hobby is watching television and listening music. I love to watch the Korean and Japanese dramas. Since I like listening to music, you want to know what types of genre music that I liked? I’m generally like genre music from the underground music example from the punk, skin head, and independents band. The most favorite band that I like is Meet Uncle Hussain and the things that I don’t believed about this band is they win the award of the greatest music from the Anugerah Juara Lagu 2008 (AGL).
Oh my God, I forgot to tell you about my family background isn't?? I’m the first from the four siblings; this mean that you also can call me Along. What???Are you afraid with me??? Oh... you thing that I’m the Along who used the violence to settle the debt of person who have lend their money isn’t??? Ha..ha..ha.. You know what my father job it is? He is a policeman who carrying out duty at Pulapol Ayer Hitam. You know what the advantages to be his son? I always got through to the roadblock without get some summons even I have done something wrong which mean that it was offense from law of the road. But, when I went through the roadblock and have been order to stop by the police officer who in charged to the road block, I only show him my identity card and license. When the police officer known that my father is policeman, he will release me without checking my motorcycle condition. Its cool isn’t? Can you imagine if we do something wrong, we should to be prepared to take the responsibility for the all of outcome  that can be, although it is positive or negative. But, the trouble comes when the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) do the roadblock, I’m very sick at the time. It’s because at that time, my father authority doesn’t make any sense to them. Ha..ha...ha... how poor of me isn’t? Like pepatah Melayu said “sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tanah jua”. Okay for you all thanks for reading my stories and I want to apologize if something that I wrote may be hurt you feelings or sensitivity. No heart feeling okay!

Youth today...

Nowadays it’s different than before because why??? Of course nowadays our lives are more improve than before since we have through the evolution from time to time. I had been told by my dad when he was  a child, there are limited facilities at his hometown before and he had  through a hard life from that. He told me that when he goes to school, he only carrying beg made by gunny sake which had been made by my grandfather. When I heard that, I’ve been thinking that how poor and  the difficulty that the people who live in the pass time to survive in their daily life. Thanks God for makes me born at the time when our world had achieved the improvement following time by time. I cannot imagine how the human at the pass, can survive during their difficulty life to makes sure that our species not being distinguish by the time. But, what disturbe me is why our citizen especially our youth don’t have any of the features like our citizen before??? Before our country got its independence, our worriors was scarified their life's to protect our land from being colonization. They prefer to choose the death just to make sure that our land was clean from any outsider’s side who want to conquer our peaceful land. If we look at our youth today, aren’t they having the spirit like our people before??? I don’t think that they have a same spirit like people before; they only enjoy the freedom that they got. From what I have through, teenagers at this time only wasted their time with have some fun and do a lot of futile things. What the worse thing is when its contributes to the country’s problems such as rempit, drugs, sex, and unmoral things. How it can be to our leader future if this occured to our youth? I’m been thinking that why our youth have such attitudes? Why they do not only follow the people pass behavior? Or every human was changing follow the trend epoch which means that our attitude also change? I have read a lot of article about our youth problems nowadays. Three are a lot of attitude problems faced by them. Don’t they things that they problems were contribute to the problems to our society and our country? I hope this article can make you all realize that how important we as youth to changes our attitude to grant that we be useful person to our country and nation.

night at a hostel

Good night to all reader... just now I was said good night to you, don’t be confused about that because I hope that you can read this story when the midnight has come. This is the nightmare story that I had through along my life and it still been my experience that I can’t ever forget. The story happened when I’m form 3 and I was staying at the hostel. It begun with some my seniors are been arrested by the wardens. I have been informed by closely friends whose saw the incident and told me that our seniors have been arrested because their playing spirit of the coin at last night. I’m having asked to my friend to know why our senior will do that. He said that one of our seniors that we called him Singer, he stated to the wardens that he playing that thing is because to want know that his girlfriend are really love him or not. Ha...ha...ha... I have laughing loudly when I heard that. While we busy to do that conversation, some student have told we that the wardens who in charged in this night was make an announcement to ‘roll-call’ at 11.00p.m after study hour. During the ‘roll-call’ time, our senior who are arrested was been punishment in front all students and they also have been asked by our wardens to promised that they do not to do that thing anymore. After the ‘roll-call’ has dismissed, we all go back to the dorm to take a rests. I was on the bad at the time and still thinking about what my seniors have done. I’m been asking myself. Why my seniors willing to do that ridiculous thing? Oh.., I remember! I know that girl who is my senior girlfriend, she is my classmate, and her name is Jamilah. While I’m still dreaming, I saw the clock at my dorm was 12.00p.m... Oh no...I’m very late to sleep right now and I decided to stop dreaming and go to sleep because tomorrow I have to wake up early to go school.
While I wanted to close my eye, suddenly I heard my senior at the next dorm was screaming loudly and after that it changes to be a noisy. I feel something happened at the senior dorm, I’m can’t continue my sleeping and running into the senior dorm to see what happened to them. When I’m through to the dorm doors, I’m shocked because I saw one of my senior, got the hysteria. I looked at his face, I knew that his is Singer who playing the spirit of the coin last night. But when i saw his face, he looks so different with before and I know that it was not him because he eye colour was red, his face is very angry and his voices also different. He looks at our face with looking that his don’t recognized we, event his best friend tried closely him, he started to raves and acting aggressively. He was say something and we cannot recognize since we all not understand the words his was saying. Some of my seniors who are strongest student at the hostel tried to catch up the Singer but they can’t. They felt that him have energy that must stronger than energy that they have. I’m who saw the situation cant believed, can you imagine, one guy who have smallest body than other five or six guy who have the biggest body still cannot defeat that one guy. We all don’t have any ideas to do with that Singer, what we do is looked the dorm doors and be prepared if the guy who been hysteria act such worse things to himself. Until the warden was comes with somebody who faith healer that can releases the disturber spirit in human body. I heard that our warden call him bomoh Ali, and while he want to enter into the senior dorm, suddenly Singer acting very aggressively than before and from the acting that his done, I knew that he trying to escapes from see the bomoh Ali. After that, some of seniors have been asking by the warden to hold Singer to prevent him runs away while bomoh Ali makes some preparation to make connection with the spirit who lives in Singer bodies. I saw bomoh Ali was reading something like spell but when I’m listening carefully I know about what his read is are sentences part of Al-Quran. I look that Singer was suffering while bomoh Ali wrote that event our seniors who holding Singer before doesn’t do anything that can gives hurts to him. Suddenly bomoh Ali was asking to that spirit that would him leaves the Singer bodies in peace or he will do the hard ways to dispel that thing from Singer bodies with angry face. Singer was quiet for a moment and I think that maybe the spirit was considering the offer made by the bomoh. But I’m definitely wrong, the spirit not intended to leave and the worse thing is when my senior who hold the Singer bodies have been scratched by the spirit. Bomoh Ali then shakes his head and spoke to the spirit that he will regrets about what his done. After that he been asking to our warden to gives him a boil of water on his hand and he was read something on the water before he splashed the water to the Singer. Singer was suffering during the water splashed on him and after a moment I saw that Singer have been calm down and his face likes so tried. After finish then our warden asking all students to go to sleep and i take a chance to go to the toilet by follow my warden at the behind. While I’m walking at behind, I tried to hear the conversation between our warden and bomoh Ali and what I’m found is that Singer was do a contract with that spirit which means that Singer was be the owner to that spirit, so that why the spirit was reluctant to let go his owner. I’m really shocked when heard about that, and I look at my watch it was 1.00p.m and I decided to go to sleep without thinking about the incident happened because I felt so tried on that time.
